Clinical Supervision

Supervision Style

Supervision is an interactive process intended to monitor the quality of client care, improve clinical skills, and facilitate professional and personal growth and development. By creating a supportive environment, you can feel comfortable exploring both client and personal concerns related to your experience as a counselor/therapist in training.

Using a collaborative model, she aims to shift her role during supervision sessions to best suit each supervisee and their particular needs. Dr. Tolleson believes that by adopting roles as a teacher, counselor, and consultant, she can best address your skills in implementing counseling interventions, client conceptualization, and finding your therapeutic style.
